Cyber Volunteering Day

🌐 Strengthening digital resilience from the community
On October 23, 2025, Fundación Semilla Cyber had the honor of participating in the Cyber Volunteering Day, held at the University of Wisconsin–Madison and organized by the Cyber Resilience Corps (CRC-USA) team together with the Center for Long-Term Cybersecurity (CLTC) at UC Berkeley.
We would like to express our gratitude to Grace Menna, Sarah Powazek, Michael Razeeq, Ann Cleaveland, and the entire Cyber Resilience Corps team for leading this first major gathering that brought together cyber defenders, academic institutions, and state response teams committed to building a cybersecurity culture based on service and collaboration.
During the work sessions, we shared Semilla Cyber's experiences supporting non-profit organizations in Puerto Rico, exploring how models such as the Wisconsin Cyber Response Team (CRT) can serve as a reference to strengthen local capacities in other territories.
